來台10年的Senthil，原本在中央研究院和清華大學唸博士學位，後來直接留在台灣工作。目前和妻小住在台南市東區，剛好五一勞動節放假，抽空來學校分享。
Senthil, who has been in Taiwan for 10 years, originally studied for PhD at Academia Sinica and Tsinghua University, and then stayed directly in Taiwan to work. Currently living with his wife and children in the East District of Tainan City, just in time for the May 1 Labor Day, he found time to share at DSJH.
經過分享，我們明白因為英國的殖民，才有現在所謂的印度。印度現在行政區域的劃分是根據每州的語言，所以印度有22個官方語言，各州之間的互動則必須透過英語。也再一次強調了學英文的重要性。
After his sharing, we realized that it was because of the British colonization that the so-called India existed. The division of administrative regions in India is based on the language of each state, so India has 22 official languages, and the interaction between states must be through English. It also emphasizes the importance of learning English again.
Senthil是來南印度的Tamil Nadu，這是一個非常重視教育的state，從他小時候的免學費到現在政府提供免費早午餐給學生，每個12歳的學生都可獲得一台bike,每個14歲學生都可獲得一台Laptop等措施，我們可以知道政府為了讓人民受教育的決心。
Senthil is from Tamil Nadu in South India. This is a state that attaches great importance to education. When he was a child, the tuition is free. Now the government provide free breakfast and lunch to students. To our enviable, every 12-year-old student can get a bike, every 14-year-old student can get a Laptop, we can know the government's determination to educate the people.
今年印度的總人口數已經超越中國大陸，而且25歳以下的人口數佔了總人口數的40%。這表示當同學們開始出社會工作時，身邊可是會出現很多印度人呀!
This year, India's population has surpassed that of mainland China, and the population under the age of 25 accounts for 40% of the population. Classmates! You have to know that when you go out to work in the society, there may be many Indians around you.
Senthil也跟大家說語言是拿來溝通的，你每天好好練習一個字或一句，一年下來2~300句就會非常可觀，何況現在有駐校的Frida可以協助，大家更應該好好把握機會練習。
Senthil also told everyone that language is used for communication. If you practice a word or sentence every day, 2-300 sentences in a year is already a considerable amount. What's more, there is Frida who is resident in the school. Everyone should seize the opportunity to practice .
Senthil跟我們約好了明年的五一勞動節會再帶全家大小一起來東山國中分享。屆時希望同學們也能如Senthil所說，好好練習英文，讓自己變得更好！
